I KNOW!!! Scary!
Steve. just came from gym. I saw 2 instances of very out of shape guys being trained by “professionals” on the half ball thing and it looked neither fun nor affective.. Whatever happenned to some bench presses?! hillarious stuff. keep it up!
Very cool! Keep up the good work.
STEVEEEEE, i really like your comments man, i’d put in practice that things that you are saying. i want to gain 30 pound in 1year. i just gained 11lbs in 3 months and now i’ll apply your tips on my work-out and later i will show you my results.
so furious! hahah gj on the rant
Steve is NOT on juice. youre a pathetic little girl slandering people behind your computer. Steve has banned you, Im sure…
Roids…
Watch my video for proof of Steve Turano admitting his on roids!
steve I just want to thank you for your videos. Like most I was under the false pretense that weight loss was achieved through either, low fat diets, low carb diets, etc and blah blah blah. Thank you for clearly explaining the calorie deficit to me. It has made my life hella easier.lol You know I played high school football for four years so i always downed those shakes for muscle, I just wish i would have found these videos then.lol again thank you…and love your body (love that phrase.lol)
I hear you! I see it every day in the gym. How do these people sell it and how do people buy it. Where did COMMON SENSE go???
i saw a video here on youtube of a guy doing BARBELL SQUATS on one of those balls, mustve been at least 225 lbs. (As if barbell squats aren’t dangerous enough). I totally agree, stand on the goddamn ground.
i guess its more about making money than making ppl exercise more efficiently
It is amazing how this became popular and that clients AND trainers aren’t insightful enough to see this as ineffective and dangerous.
I hope you guys didn’t take my comment literally that the 125 lb dumbbells crashed on my head! lol. I wouldnt be here typing this is that were the case!
AND workout at once! Working out is hard enough folks, you don’t need to take part in this nonsense. Core will take care of itself. Listen to Steve, I can”t say it enough!

Unfortunately, I used to do a certain amount of core training. I bought those bosu balls and core stability balls. I’d do dumbbell bench presses on it. Worst thing I’ve ever done. I slipped off the ball and the weights came crashing down on my head! I also could not handle my 125 lb dumbbells for as many reps. Since then, I decided to stick to the basics: Use benches or stand on the ground. I’ve seen people doing bicep curls while standing on one leg for God’s sake! You’re trying to balance…
id find it really funny if steve really got mad at the end and trashed his office haha i like how passionate he is about helping people i respect that
LOL! Thanks. And it’s the truth!
This is Fabulous!! Magnificently Marvelous! ^_^
Thanks! Achieving results is about knowing the truth!
Your no BS approach is refreshing
If greater strength and muscularity didnt improve performance then why are most professional athletes, whose performance is based on strength, lifting weights and taking steroids? Because they know increased strength mean increased performance once you have the skill. And check out Jujutsu101 on You Tube. See you on the mat!
Check out my response to The Stiggler!
Haha, that #### is ridiculous lol. And this MMA, UFC stuff you guys are talking about are completely different then what Steve is talking about.
Steve stated in this clip that the stability exercises & routines were not good for the average person looking to get in shape. Those are the people the fitness magazines target. Performance atheletes already have a great base of strength, agility & fitness level to handle the stability training techniques. Steve is dismissing it to help prevent the average joe from injuring himself with that type of specific training. He’s trying to keep it out of their mind altogether until they’re in shape.
I used to have a certain amount of belief in core training. I no longer do. Core training wasn’t my word, but you’d hear so much about you figured someone knew what they were talking about. Same thing goes for ” functional ” training. It’s best to build solid strength through progressive compound lifts: Squat, powerclean, clean&Jerk, and then apply it to-your-function,…or specific to your sport. Then the specificity training along with the build strength base will give you superior results.
