What the hell? I didn’t know fat was fuel and can get utilized. I thought it was junk and only could be rid of.
Fat cells or adipose cells is not created during adult life it is hereditary. That is the reason why there are people who are genetically fat or slim. A genetically slim person has less or smaller fat cells whilst a genetically fat person has larger cells where more fat gets stored.
one interesting study i saw some years back put dogs on treadmills and monitored how many calories they burned. They gave some of the dogs just enough water to live and gave the others as much as they wanted. the ones that got to drink lots of water burned almost double the calories! So drinking alot of water CAN help you lose weight beyond just filling you up. Also, I know some folks who drank alkalizing green drinks and changed nothing else and lost lots of weight.
i think you are both right actually. The key is finding the amount of calories that sustains your muscle mass etc and does not support body fat. So a severe calorie reduction is going to slow your metabolism but eating too many calories no matter how healthy the foods are, will not let you lose weight either.
u gotta keep in mind that the demographics for these videos are usually overwheight ppl looking to lose pounds… these ppl have above average caloric intakes and dieting in a situation where your body is stll recieving the required amounts is going to cause wieght loss especially when combined with weight loss

eating less and excersing more DOES NOT cause weight loss, I would love to meet this dude. You actually have to eat more (of the right food) to lose weight. Eating less and starving your body only slows down your metabolism in order to store whatever food it gets. This leads to the formation of more fat cells, the only storage form of energy we have. So when your not eating enough, you’re actually creating more fat cells, “which will never go away.

That has nothing to do with anything. Steve is not saying “things wont cause weight loss if you’re over eating”, he saying flat out “there is nothing that can cause weight loss”, and “there’s nothing that causes your body to burn fat”. Caffeine is well documented to mobilize fat and shifts the body’s preferential fuel source from carbs to fat – as do many other supplements. We’re not debating whether or not a diet is needed. Steve’s claims are ludicrous.
If your stuffing your face with hamburgers and still maintaining a high calorie diet between eight-balls you won’t lose weight. Ask Chris Farley.

you rule. i just finished watching a youtube video of this girl who is starving her weight off and clearly misusing diuretics, and i have to admit i was feeling desperate enough to try the same until i watched your video. i know that proper diet and exercise is the way, but i was wanting a “quick fix”. thank you for this video, it brought me back to reality.

When someone his size just lifts his arms 90 degrees it appears to be flexing…I only have 16″ arms and I already have that problem. My wife told me at a party to keep my sleeves down (kept going up when I bend arms).
As I said my arms is not that big but the shirt size for my shape has small sleeve size. The bigger shirts I wear for gyms and etc is not good for parties.
I am 200 lbs @ 5′6″ with 16 in arms, this is not too impressive but I understand the feeling when some thinks you are on “roids” when you are not. I just do not care to be on roids, I am not a pro BB’er so I workout out for modest gains and not as a career.
Plus, my wife prefers me smaller in size lol.

roids don’t give you muscles. you still have to work out people. just like he’s mentions these diet pills and such don’t make you lose weight, it just helps you get there faster.
