i dont think you should work out the same muscle group everyday cause you wanna give em time to recover.

There is an answer for fast recovery….
    …..It’s called “GLUTAMINE” !!!
…..An amino acid that you wont find in most Protein Shakes..!!
    ….But it is sold separately….

Recovery by eating whole wheat and whole mean foods, since the chemical extracted and put in recovery products is found in the stuff that they throw away when they refine that grain.

How do you gain muscle with High Metabolism?

  • 1stbase7 says:

for cardio i prefer just sprinting for a bit, and if you have a baseball park nearby, then jogging around the perimeter..do that for 4-5 times a week for several months and watch your diet. Throughout time you will have lossed a certain amount of weight. just a suggestion for some people who would like some cardio advice. Thanks for the video steve

  • TheNexus says:

The most important thing about recovery is… try not to judge it by a medium. If some website says most people need a day or two a week of recovery, don’t listen to that over how you actually feel.

If you feel you can workout, do it.

    Hi,
no offence, but it’s unlikely that U can lose that gut in a month, it takes at least couple of months to a year.

I t depends on yr excerise regime, diet(food intake) & how much U wanna lose in that gut

  • BodyPerformanceTV says:

Sure. You can even break it up. Morning, afternoon and evening.

  • de1dezire says:

    thanks Steve.

I’m a naturally thin person but then I lived a sedentary lifestyle for 2 years and ate like crap so i gained 15 pounds.

I’m now exercising before eating breakfast every morning, meaning weights and 35 minutes of cardio every day.

I want to increase my cardio to get a flat stomach in a month but i hear conflictiong reports that too much is bad.

Can I do cardio for an hour or 2 walking every night?

  • BodyPerformanceTV says:

It doesn’t matter when you do cardio!

  • ilovemyarial says:

Steve I usually train 2 body parts when I weight life and on the days that I weight life, I usually go hiking for cardio. I usually weight lift for 30-45 mins and hike for 30-45 mins. It takes me 4 days to train every muscle when lifting. I rest 1 day after I trained everything. Should I do cardio on my rest day? I’m not sure if it will cause me to lose muscle mass. I want to add lots of muscle by the way. not lose any, but I’d like to keep my bodyfat low.

Just finished watching your videos (I think I got all of them). According to my education, you’re right on the money on everything you say (I have a B.S. kinesiology and a B.S. nutritional sciences) :) . I only disagreed on swimming being not a good aerobic workout on that ‘best aerobic workout’ video. This was a very good review of stuff I learned through theory…application is another story!

  • WIGTRON5000 says:

i train fullbody 3 days a week. ive seen the best results from this: squat, bench, row, overhead press, and deadlift. 5X5 heavy weight.

  • BodyPerformanceTV says:

Depends on intensity but I would not train the same muscle two days in a row if you’re going to failure. Simply train your other body parts. Training each body part intensely twice a week is enough.

  • bjan87 says:

Hi Steve. I’ve been told to rest my muscles for 48 hours after an intense workout. However, I’m a young guy and my muscles “feels” fully recovered after only 1 day (I lift until failure, about 9 sets per muscle). Could I train based on how my muscles feel instead of following the 48 hour rule? Thanks!

  • TheYzfr1 says:

thanx sir 4 your advice… now training hardcore can i allow to workout every other day since the intense training?

  • BodyPerformanceTV says:

Two body parts is fine as long as you can train both hard. I train chest and tris together and sometimes back and bis.

  • TheYzfr1 says:

what do you think of training two body part in one day?
since i workout every other day to allow recover.. i feel it works ince i’ve competed in the past .. im 5′8 weighting 216 but i am looking to get bigger.. help plz
