I’m a HEALTHY eater now. My meals are like the the photos you see in SHAPE magazine. I don’t recommend junk food. It’s very calorie dense and not nutritious and generally bad for health. But with that said, Steve’s point IS dead on correct. If you consume less McDonalds then you burn, you’ll lose weight. Saw lots of inner-city kids in boxing programs that were lean has heck, with bad diets. They were eating bad, but not as much of it as you think. Add to that the calories they burned in the gym.

Hey qnsboxer, he’s absolutely right. When I was a boxer I did not eat very well. Didn’t know much about it back then. I wish I did. Through my Two-a-day boxing workouts, I burned enough calories to burn off the McDonalds and keep my lean 168lb. physique. Lots of cardio work like boxing can reduce appetite besides the calories it burns. Once I stopped Boxing,..oh boy, different story. I had to learn about nutrition then believe me. Join Steve’s site, he’ll teach you a lot that you don’t know.

hmm strange ,, i always heart that if you starve yourself , try stupid diets your metabolism is slawer and later if you will try good diet and sport there will be problem to loose weigth and it will take a lot of time ..

  • YazatLane says:

So I actually looked at what I was eating. My main meal consisted of like a THOUSAND or more calories. Madness.

  • BodyPerformanceTV says:

That’s right, dumb ass. You can eat anything and as long as you create a calorie deficit you’ll lose weigtht. The New England Journal of Medicine proved that.

  • qnsboxer422 says:

By your logic, if you eat nothing but mcdonalds all day long, but still eat less than you burn, you are going to lose weight. If thats true then why would anyone even have to eat healthy to lose weight? You can just eat like crap all day as long as you arent eating more than you burn. You need to pick up a book and put down the muscle mags.

  • rock962000 says:

Yes, it does. It also helps curve your diet.

You still live with your mum don’t you kiddo?

  • worksopians says:

Obviously, you’ve absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

  • GENERALLEEJ says:

Ive lost interest in this conversation.

  • worksopians says:

Trust me, I know my stuff and I have no idea what you are trying to say here. You mentioned fasting randomly when i was talking about sleeping, and you carried on saying how body conserves energy by storing fat. And now you are saying i am confused. Indeed i am, not your knowledge, but your contradiction.

  • GENERALLEEJ says:

You are confusing “excess” calorie intake with regular and healthy meals. I’m not talking about a cream bun and a bottle of coke every couple of hours. Fasting means to stop eating for a period of time, The word breakfast is a good example of this. ‘Break’ to finish or stop and ‘Fast’ zero food intake over a period of time.

  • SuperFatTurd says:

As always you have the best advice.

  • worksopians says:

Very unconviced, people only store fats when they have excess calories intake, not fasting. And please don’t take sleeping as fasting.

  • GENERALLEEJ says:

Sorry to break it to you worksopians but when you wake up in the morning your metabolism is in its slowest state. Your metabolism slows down with long periods of fasting. Fasting causes you to conserve energy and slow your metabolism. The body conserves energy by storing fat.

  • worksopians says:

wrong..it doesn’t increases your metabolism. It MAINTAINS your metabolism to a high state. When you wake up in the morning, your metabolism is high, so by taking small meals will allow you to maintain that high metabolism.

  • OctoberSaint says:

Thanks again Steve! As always your right on

  • kuhooona says:

  • cheeseaura says:

BodyPerformanceTV should be on fit tv.

He’s like holmes on holmes for your body.

  • GENERALLEEJ says:

I would agree with this statement. Eating regularly does increase your metabolism. As long as you keep the food your eating clean and nutritious. Its a shame more people don’t know this. I was fat for years until I figured this out and now I eat more than ever yet maintain a healthy bodyfat percentage. I also exercise frequently which helps not only with weight but also keeps you generally healthy.
