Probably because strength training increases muscle cell nucleus count from donated satelite cells, increasing the amount of &quot;protein factories&quot; available to each muscle cell, thereby making it easier to rebuild lost muscle mass. There are probably other factors involved too but I think the cell nucleus count that increases which time is a big factor.</description>

So if you were to enter a caloric deficit by resistance training, would this not cause the body to enter a Catabolic state?
